DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH)

Secure your endpoint DNS queries from prying eyes wih DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH).

What is DNS over HTTPS (DoH)?

DNS over HTTPS (DoH) is a protocol for performing Domain Name System (DNS) lookups using the HTTPS protocol. The goal of DoH is to increase the privacy, security, and reliability of DNS lookups by encrypting the data being transmitted and by preventing tampering or eavesdropping. By encrypting the data, it makes it harder for attackers to intercept the DNS requests and respond with fake or malicious DNS information. It also helps to prevent eavesdropping on what sites the user is visiting.

DNS over HTTPS Support

DoH deployment is a zero-software option for an off-network endpoint that needs immediate protection. Securd DoH support adds security features to DNS resolution without loosing the protection that defensive DNS filtering provides. With custom DNS over HTTPS supported in Firefox, Chrome, and Windows 10 (Build 19628 or Newer), create a DoH URL, map it to a security policy and get an end-user protected in less than 5 mins. DoH queries are logged in the Securd portal in real-time.
